Scott Dodd bought the Starkville Express Franchise in 2008 from previous owners Stuart and Mike Vance. He is a graduate of MUW in Columbus, MS and has over 25 years' experience with staffing and human resources.
After college, Scott worked for an Express franchisee in Jackson for 6 plus years where he started in sales and worked up to general manager. Scott also worked for a national staffing firm, Volt, as area manager over the Carolinas and Tennessee.
He learned of the opportunity to purchase the Starkville office, and was able to move back home to be closer to his family. Scott is married to Anna Dodd and has two children, Gabe and Alexia. He is actively involved in his community as a Rotarian and helping people find employment.
Scott is a Veteran of the United States Army- 82nd Airborne Division and served in Saudi Arabia & Iraq in Desert Storm.
Anna Dodd is a Starkville, MS native but after high school went to Ole Miss and graduated college in 1997. After moving out West for many years, she returned home to Starkville and has been actively involved in her community. During her years of outside sales for Express, she was an Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce for several years.
Anna has recently been focusing on the Professional Search Division of Express placing Executives and Management at clients in the area. She enjoys making a difference in people's lives by helping them find rewarding careers as well as internal staff development.
