    $10.00 - $10.50 an hour - Contract

    A local medical facility is looking to hire a certified nursing assistant to support their growing business.

    Duties

    • Provide nursing care support and function under the supervision of nursing staff (RN or LPN).
    • Provide exceptional patient care.
    • Advocate in the best interest of patients and their families.
    • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
    • Perform patient vital signs and record information in the medical chart and/or electronic medical record.
    • Work with patients.

    Qualifications

    • Possess current, applicable state licensure/registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant in West Virginia
    • Require six (6) months recent experience as a CNA.
    • Retain current BLS/CPR certification.
    • Require verbal and written skills in English.
    • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

    Job Function Requirements

    • Able to stand up to eight hours per work schedule.
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
    • Must have reliable transportation.
    • Dress appropriately for the healthcare setting by wearing modest attire with minimal accessories that include sturdy, close toed shoes.

    Job Type: Contract

    • Salary: $10.00 to $10.50 /hour
