    $22.00 - $25.00 an hour -  Contract 

    A local medical facility is looking to hire a certified radiology technician to support their growing business.

    Duties

    • Operate radiology equipment, obtain and develop radiographic images, and prepare patients for radiological procedures.
    • Work under a physician’s or nurse practitioner’s (NP) orders.
    • Work with patients of all age ranges.
    • Update medical charts and/or electronic medical record.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited program for Radiological Technology.
    • Possess a current, applicable state and/or national licensure.
    • Must have at least six months of current experience as an X-ray Technician.
    • Retain current BLS/CPR certification.
    • Maintain applicable specialized training and certification/licensure for CT, MRI, Mammography, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and others.
    • Require verbal and written skills in English.
    • Will be required to successfully pass a drug test & background check.

    Job Function Requirements

    • Able to stand up to eight hours. Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
    • Must have reliable transportation.
    • Dress appropriately for the healthcare setting by wearing modest attire with minimal accessories that include sturdy, closed toe shoes.

    Job Type: Contract

    Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 /hour

    Required experience:

    • Radiology Technician: six months
    • Required license or certification: Radiology Technician
