    Express Healthcare Professionals - Charleston, WV

    $14 - $18 an hour - Contract

    A local medical facility is looking to hire a licensed practical nurse to support their growing business.

    Duties

    • Provide direct patient care support and function under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse (RN).
    • Provide exceptional patient care as per physician’s orders.
    • Obtain patient health information and vital signs, record information in the medical chart and/or electronic medical record.
    • Advocate for patients and their families.
    • Work with patients.

    Qualifications

    • Possess current, applicable West Virginia licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
    • Require six (6) months current experience as an LPN.
    • Retain current BLS/CPR certification.
    • Require verbal and written skills in English.
    • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

    Job Function Requirements

    • Able to stand up to eight hours per work schedule.
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
    • Must have reliable transportation.
    • Dress appropriately for the healthcare setting by wearing modest attire with minimal accessories that include sturdy, closed toe shoes.

    Job Type: Contract

    • Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour

    Required experience:
