    $12.00 - $15.00 an hour 

    A local medical facility is looking to hire a pharmacy technician to support their growing business.

    Duties:

    • Provide pharmacy support services in acute care, clinic, or commercial pharmacy settings.
    • Communicate with doctors’ offices, hospitals, patients, and insurance companies.
    • Disburse prescriptions to patients.
    • Maintain patient chart and/or electronic medical record and pharmacy records.
    • Answer questions and provide customer service as needed.
    • Assist pharmacist in the maintenance of medication inventory and ordering.
    • Work with patients or customers

    Qualifications:

    • Possess current applicable license/certification as a Pharmacy Technician.
    • Must have one (1) year experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
    • Require verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Proficient in current standard of pharmacy computer recordkeeping.
    • Will be required to pass a drug test & background check.

    Job Function Requirements:

    • Able to stand eight to 12 hours.
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
    • Must have reliable transportation.
    • Dress appropriately for the healthcare setting by wearing modest attire with minimal accessories that include sturdy, closed toe shoes.
