Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Strong and efficient communications skills within the location team, with customers and with upper management are key
• Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement
• Maintains a working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area and updates SOP's as needed- Generate shipping documents, export papers as needed.
• Maintain and exceed KPI measurements, to include labor control, inbound/outbound metrics, order fulfillment and inventory accuracy
• Conducts walkthroughs throughout the shift to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assist in cycle counting of warehouse inventories.
• Assist in auditing inbound and outbound shipments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

• Previous experience within the warehouse/distribution industry preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets
• Experience with software including Quickbooks & MS Office Suite required
• WMS experience preferred
• Strong and efficient communications skills required
