A New Perspective on Time Management
Time. One of the most interesting inventions known to humankind. We watch the calendars, set our alarms, check the clock. We try to make up time, be on time, manage time, slow down time. We wish for more time, we hate it when time crawls, we hate it when time flies. Time.
Many of us go into each hectic work day with the belief that the day will simply run us over because it’s how our jobs work. Our job isn’t standardized, it’s not predictable, it’s affected by things out of our control and; therefore, our time can’t be managed. You’re probably right – our time can’t be managed. It marches on; 60 seconds to a minute, 60 minutes to an hour, 8 hours to a work day, 5 days to a week, and so on. On it goes . . .
This course will look at some ways to help us be more productive with our time. We won’t look so much at “time management” as we’ll look at “behavior management, affecting our time”.This workshop won’t add minutes to your clock. It won’t add time to your day. It might, however, help you be more predictable, productive, and happy with how you used your time.
