Brandy has been with the Hickory office for 11 years and was named franchise co-owner and managing partner in February 2021. She lives in Lenoir, NC, with her husband, Kevin, and their daughter, Kayla. Brandy grew up in this area and is very familiar with the various companies and industries that the tri-county area has to offer. She has a passion for connecting companies with our talented workforce and considers herself your “local talent matchmaker.” 

In addition to introducing local businesses to top talent, Brandy is an active member of our local Chambers of Commerce, serving as a networking member of The Chamber of Catawba County, as well as an active Ambassador and networking member of the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a Board Member for the Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce, Secretary for the IMPACT by Rotary of the Foothills Board of Directors, and VP of Membership for the Catawba Valley chapter of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management). When she is not actively serving the community, you will most likely find her at Tri County Speedway supporting her husband and daughter in their short track racing hobbies.

Angela has been with the Express family since 2019. She started with the Fayetteville, NC office before transferring to our Hickory office in 2021 then becoming co-owner shortly after in October of 2021.

Angela has been married to her husband, Mark, for 25 years. Mark just retired from the US Army. They have three sons who also serve in the military. The Smith family has lived all over the world, from North Carolina to Alaska, to Germany!

Since moving back to Hickory, she and Mark enjoy spending time reconnecting with family and friends, when she is not helping our associates and clients with their employment needs.
