Erika is a second generation Express franchisee for the Libertyville location. She started with Express in 2008 as an intern to learn the basics of Express while finishing her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. After graduation, she worked for Express in the Madison WI office until 2012 managing large volume commercial accounts. In 2012 she returned to Libertyville to launch the Office Services division. Since then, she earned the Presidents Club Award 2x and officially became a franchisee with her parents in 2015. She has a passion for developing her internal team, sales, and truly impacting the local business community in Lake County. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two small children and husband, cooking, and the outdoors fishing and hiking.

Melissa started with Express in Libertyville in April of 2012 as a Senior Staffing Consultant with a focus on Industrial and Professional Staffing.  After a successful three years in her role she took an opportunity with a large corporation as an Executive Assistant to gain more knowledge within the corporate world and to broaden her skills in an Administrative capacity.  She rejoined her Express family in Libertyville as Office Manager in January of 2019.  Now as the Operations Manager Melissa focuses on Client Management, Internal Operations, Coaching, Administrative duties, and supporting the Owner of Express, her sister, Erika Waehler.  In her spare time Melissa enjoys being with her family, reading, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Ellie started working for Express in February of 2014. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from St. Louis University in 2013, and worked as a waitress until she joined the Express team. She worked as a Front Office Coordinator for about a year, and was then promoted to the role of Employment Specialist with a focus on Industrial positions. Now, as Senior Employment Specialist, she focuses on high level industrial and skilled trades positions. In her spare time, Ellie enjoys knitting, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with her pet cat, Cat!

Heather joined the Express team in August 2018 as the Front Office Coordinator and then transitioned to an Employment Specialist in 2019. Heather earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology at Western Kentucky University and a Master's degree in School Counseling at the University of Louisville. She grew up in Kentucky but moved to the area in 2016 to be with her husband. She now has two daughters (Reese & Sloane), and enjoys spending time with family, friends and making as many trips to Kentucky as possible!

Hannah began working for Express in June of 2021 as an Employment Specialist for a blended desk of Office Services and Light Industrial. She has since transitioned to solely Office Services, and is passionate about her associates and clients that she helps in those fields. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Judson University in 2020. Before Express, Hannah worked as a Program Manager for Before and After School Programs within Lake County school districts. In her spare time, Hannah loves spending time with her family, traveling, sunny days and warm weather, and trying new coffee shops (recommendations appreciated!).

Maia joined the Libertyville team in March of 2024 as an Employment Specialist for Office Services. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Business from DePaul University in 2023. Before Express, she worked in administrative and human resources support roles, while assisting in staffing. In her spare time, she likes to go to the lake when the weather is nice, paint, ski and travel with her family and friends.

Scott joined the Libertyville team in February of 2024. He graduated from The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a minor in Psychology. He has worked in staffing previously and is focused on IT and Business positions. He enjoys traveling, exploring outdoors, golfing, and being with friends and family. Scott has a Labrador Retriever, who he spends plenty of time with, whether swimming, walking, or playing frisbee.

 

Karen started with Express in January of 2023 as our Front Office Coordinator, with a passion to be part of a growing team and to help others on their journey. Karen earned her Associates Degree from Wilbur Wright College. Prior to Express Karen has 10 years of administrative experience,  including 7 years of experience in logistics and warehouse management. Her favorite thing about Express is the commitment to our Associates’ success! In her free time she loves to spend time with her fiancé and daughter Amelia. Fun fact about Karen is that she has an obsession with all things Harry Potter.
