Express Employment Professionals in London Joins Nationwide Effort to Fight Hunger
Brand It Blue Day Set for Saturday, June 11 2016
LONDON, ONTARIO - May 16, 2016 Express
Employment Professionals, an internationally franchised staffing company, is
setting aside a day of volunteerism known as “Brand It Blue Day.”
On
Saturday, June 11, Express Employment Professionals offices across the United States and Canada will join together at local food banks and grocery stores to
help fight hunger—a growing epidemic that impacts millions of people in the U.S.,
Canada and around the world every day.
“Brand
It Blue Day is a day each Express franchise can come together for one great cause
to help the community,” said Mercer, London Express franchisee. “This is a chance for Express offices to honor the
communities that have supported us through the years by giving back.”
Beginning May 16th through June 11, Express London will host a food drive at its
office, located at 300 Dundas Street, Unit 200,
where you can drop off non-perishable food. And then on June 11, volunteers
will gather the food and take it to the London Food Bank, as well as volunteer on site and at local grocery stores around the city.
“The
summertime is an especially difficult season for children who depend on the
meals they receive at school,” Mercer said. “The donations we receive will help provide
meals for children and their families in our community.”

Volunteers will receive an Express T-shirt to wear on Brand It Blue Day. This is
the fourth year that the staffing company has held Brand It Blue Day. During
that time, more than 200 Express offices and 1,500 volunteers have donated their
time and resources to provide more than 156,000 meals to local food banks and
charitable organizations.
