  • Express Employment Professionals Donates $75,000 to Nonprofits

    6 Charities Receive $10,000 - $25,000 from International Staffing Company

     

    Express Employment Professionals, along with its franchise locations in British Columbia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Tennessee, is donating $75,000 to six nonprofits.

    The donations are part of The Impact Project, an initiative of the company's philanthropic committee designed to give back to nonprofits nominated by franchisees among their more than 800 franchise locations.

    "We pride ourselves on having a culture built on giving and service at Express," said Bob Funk, CEO and chairman of the board of Express Employment Professionals. "With that in mind, we know how important it is to support the communities where we work, serve and live. The commitment that our franchise owners have shown these organizations is a great example of that support."

    Liberty House, an organization providing a safe, respectful and substance-free transitional housing community for homeless American veterans committed to a path of independence and self-sufficiency, was the winner of the $25,000 donation. This organization was nominated by John Roller, a franchise owner with Express Employment Professionals in the Manchester, New Hampshire, region.   

    "I'm honored to be a part of a company that believes so strongly in giving back to communities," Roller said. "Liberty House holds a special place in the heart of our team at Express. We are excited and grateful to have been selected as one of the charities to receive this donation."

    • Working Gear-Vancouver, British Columbia-$10,000
    • Liberty House-Manchester, New Hampshire-$25,000
