Krista joined the Express family in February 2018 after moving to Ottawa from Toronto. She studied Philosophy at the University of Western Ontario and has over 10 years experience working as an Office and Operations Manager in the automotive and skilled trades sector. Building rapports with clients, employees, and customers has been at the forefront of her career. In today’s competitive market, Krista understands the difficulties in finding and retaining good quality employees. She has a passion and keen instinct in helping companies find their ideal staff as well as helping candidates find their ideal career and work environments. A self described ‘professional matchmaker’, Krista is always on the lookout for new talent. Outside the office, Krista enjoys running, fishing, writing, and travelling, and is a die-hard Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

Craig joined the Express Team as the Front Office Coordinator in September 2018, and quickly grew into the Business Developer role in January 2019. He is an Algonquin College graduate who is eager to make his mark on the world.

He is a hardworking, charismatic, fun loving, individual who takes pride in everything he sets out to do. When you meet him, you can expect to be met with a smile, treated with respect and a real genuine sense of caring. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming, camping, hiking, and above all, spending time with his daughter. Having grown up in Ottawa, Craig is excited to help local businesses grow and help them achieve their professional goals.

Heather joined the Express team in February 2020, in search of a career in which she could grow professionally within an industry she is enthusiastic about. She has always had an interest in the employment industry, taking on this position was an exciting opportunity and challenge for her.

Throughout her childhood she observed her parents work hard and grow their staffing company in the healthcare sector. Having witnessed both the ups and downs that the staffing industry can bring, she was eager to begin her own career in human resources using what she had learned.

Heather moved from her family home in Uxbridge Ontario in 2013 to pursue her education in the country’s capital. Having graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a strong background of customer service and an ability to connect with others, she has always had passion for helping people.

Heather is eager to meet new people and learn about their likes, dislikes and what they truly need professionally. Helping connect candidates with positions that suit them both personally and professionally is her goal.

On the weekends, you can find Heather, her husband and their poodle Millie at their family farm in Perth - enjoying the outdoors and drinking tea.

Connor joined the Express family in October 2022 in order to launch a career in the staffing industry and better serve the Ottawa community. Born and raised in Calgary, he has always had an affinity for connecting with people from all different walks of life and is keen to help those in need. After moving across the country in pursuit of his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, for which he graduated from Carleton University in 2019, Connor knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life working with people. It was then through working as a Retail Store Manager that he fell in love with recruitment and knew it was the career path he was destined to pursue. After gaining more education and experience in the field, he knew Express was the perfect place for him to chase his dreams.

With a diverse background in labour, sales, and customer service, experiences are everything to Connor and he is always in search of something new both inside and outside of his daily work. His belief is that experiences allow you to connect with people on a more meaningful level and develop a deeper understanding of their needs. It’s this philosophy that allows him to be a successful Recruitment Specialist and help put people into the jobs they love.

When not at work, you can catch him curled up at home with a book/movie, chasing his troublesome cat around the house, or at night, rocking out on the drums with his band.

In the future, Connor hopes to take Express to the next level and put everyone in Ottawa to work.

John joined Express May 2023. He is a graduate of Algonquin college with over 10 years in Customer Service and Sales.

He has a passion for helping people and genuinely enjoys the process of seeing and assisting others succeed. Through previous experience in retail management, personal training and as an insurance adjustor, John is happiest when dealing with people in a one-on-one environment where he can show he truly cares, makes them feel valued, and deliver results that meet or exceed their needs.

A massive sports fan, John can be found in the gym, at a rink, on a golf course or with a fishing rod in hand when not in the office. He has a large family and a close-knit group of friends that he puts above all else and whom he spends as much time as possible with.

Mia a rejoint l’équipe d’Express au mois d’août 2023. Passionnée de tous aspects des ressources humaines, elle commence à se frayée un chemin dans le monde de recrutement et de placement. Elle étudie présentement à l’Université d’Ottawa, dans le processus d’obtenir son B.Com en gestion des ressources humaines. Une passion innée pour aider les personnes à trouver le meilleur emploi pour eux et à avoir une satisfaction professionnelle, Mia s’est retrouvée dans le meilleur endroit pour rendre celle-ci une réalité.

Lorsqu’elle n’est pas au travail ou à l’école, on peut la trouver dans tous les types de restaurants imaginable à s’immerger dans les diverses cultures gastronomiques. En commençant par les enchaladas du Mexique aller jusqu’au bibimpap de la Corée. Si ce n’est pas là qu’on la trouve, elle est certainement confortablement couchée sur le sofa en regardant de façon excessive les séries de télévisions les plus récentes. De plus, contrairement au reste de ses collègues, Mia suit les Canadiens de Montréal de près et espère qu’ils vont battre les Maple Leafs de Toronto!

Jenna joined the Express Team in March 2023 after moving from the Kingston area. She studied Business Accounting at Algonquin College and, although new to Ottawa looks forward to helping her community.

She is patient, optimistic, and always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. With many years of experience in customer service and helping individuals financially she hopes to make everyone’s interaction with Express Employment Professionals as enjoyable as her own.

When able, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and trying new experiences, which is why she is excited about this new experience at Express in Ottawa.
