Lisa opened the Honolulu and Pearl City office with her business partner Chad Higa in 2007.  Their vision is to help companies in Hawaii find good workers and to help local job seekers find jobs with great companies.  Lisa is a wife and mother of two boys.  In her spare time you will find her at the soccer field watching her oldest son play.  And one of Lisa's biggest inspirations is her youngest son who was diagnosed with Autism five months after starting their business.  Lisa dedicates her time and efforts to help the Autism community in Hawaii.

Background

Lisa received her bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Hawaii.  And has continued her learning through Express and was selected to attend the Express Leadership Academy which is a program designed from an MBA program specific to the staffing industry.

Prior to starting her career in Staffing she spent 13 years in Advertising with GTE/Verizon/Hawaiian Telecom.  She moved up quickly in the organization and ended her career as the District Sales Manager for Major Accounts.  Capitalizing on her strengths of helping small business owners thrive and succeed in the Hawaii market, she decided to join the Express family.

The Hawaii office has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Women Owned Business and Hawaii Best Workplaces through her leadership and guidance.  Lisa feels so fortunate to work every day with her Dream Team.

Les leads the Hawaii state territories for the IT & Healthcare divisions. He has 15 years of combined IT and IT/Healthcare professional staffing.  His experience ranges from the Hawaii Territory Manager for world-wide storage leaders, EMC Corp(now Dell EMC)  and NetApp, and the systems integrator, World Wide Technology, as well as working closely with the largest healthcare organizations in Hawaii.

Les began his career with Fortune 50 company GTE (Hawaiian Tel/Verizon),Yellow Pages division, for 12 years as Regional Sales Trainer, District Manager & General Sales Manager, for one of the largest offices in the US.  Les graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, College of Business with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.

Aside from work, you can find Les year-round at the soccer field enjoying time with his family and his son's soccer club, the Honolulu Bulls, exercising and also serving on the Board of HICTA with IT Professionals in the State of Hawaii. 

Sunny Gonzalez joined the Express family in 2008 as an Administrative Employment Manager.  She has since held various positions including District Trainer, Specialized Recruiter, and is now the Managing Director of the Honolulu office where she manages their team of Professional Recruiters.  Now her main focuses are within the niches of Licensed Medical and IT, where she acts as a talent agent, representing great candidates to the employers of choice in Hawaii.  Sunny loves being a part of an organization that lives out their values of Trust, Communication, Loyalty, Teamwork, and Excellence every single day!  

Sunny graduated with her Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii and also has her Bachelor's Degree in Communicology. Prior to joining Express, Sunny was a Varsity Soccer Coach at her alma mater and a Lecturer at the Speech Department at the University of Hawaii.

 Outside the office, Sunny loves going on adventures with her family including soccer on the weekends, experiencing new food places, and cheering on the Denver Broncos. She is also active within her church, Grace Bible Pearlside, and enjoys participating in community events with her Express family such as Hawaii Walk Now for Autism.

Angela has been a member of the Honolulu Express team since the Fall of 2010. She graduated from  the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BA degree in Liberal Studies. Angela is the Financial Coordinator for the Honolulu and Pearl City office.  Angela enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Marissa has been a member of the Express team since 2014 and is currently an Employment Manager that focuses on HR, Sales, and Accounting and Office Management positions. She enjoys helping amazing candidates find great new opportunities in our market. Graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing, she worked as a Retail Manager in various store locations in Hawaii and Washington before returning home and joining the Express family. On her free time, you can find Marissa working out at Bishop 24 Hour Fitness and Iron Hawaiian Fitness, hiking (especially Kokohead), and spending time with her son. 

Born and raised in Hawaii, Roxanne joined the team after spending 6 years in the retail industry. Rox started as the front office coordinator and quickly grew into her role as a professional recruiter specializing in licensed medical and IT. She is excited to help people and businesses find the perfect fit. Rox loves to spending time with family. In her free time, you can find her in the kitchen baking with her daughter, exploring the variety of foods Hawaii has to offer, or watching food network and HGTV!
