Express South Zone Nominee for Employee of the Year 2017

Every year, one Express associate is chosen from across all of our offices to be the Express Employment Professionals Employee of the Year.  This year, one of the 5 finalists, the South Zone Nominee, came from our San Antonio Northeast Office!  

Our associate, Andre Wiggins has been an outstanding employee for the 4 years he has been working with us. He was previously recognized in 2014 with one of our first Employee of the Month Awards.  We are so proud of him and we know he is getting the recognition he deserves. As a part of the award, Andre also received a gift basket full of Express goodies, a check for $1,000, and a trip to Orlando, where he will be recognized by the entire Express family! 

December 2017 - Arely Carreon

Arely first interviewed with Express in February 2017, and was quickly placed in her current assignment.  Arely easily meets deadlines and additional demands.  She’s flexible, willing and eager to learn new skills.  She learns quickly and is often willing to work overtime.  Both of her supervisors recommended Arely for this award and her qualities stood out as being worthy of this recognition. 

November 2017 - Mindy Johns

Mindy first interviewed with Express in February 2016.  She had two successful assignments with the San Antonio Northeast office and also with another Express office. In her last job with our office Mindy worked for nearly 7 months on a long-term temporary job as a Receptionist. In her current assignment she has been identified as cheerful, friendly and does a good job. We appreciate the effort she puts in every day for Express and our client!

October 2017 - Robert McCutcheon

Robert first interviewed with Express in February 2014 and has successfully completed 14 assignments for our clients. Robert started with his current assignment in August. Everywhere Robert goes he not only takes care of the assigned tasks, but he also tries to organize and make the make the place better than when he arrived. Even when he took a light duty assignment after an injury he worked diligently to help the client. He takes pride in what he does and it shows in his work. He has been an asset to Express and to our clients.

September 2017 - Stephen Washington

Stephen first interviewed with Express in May 2016 and has successfully completed several assignments for our clients. Michael started with his current warehouse assignment in May. His supervisor here notices his work ethic too – and told Express that, "Stephen has been a great addition to our team! He is an efficient worker and he is one you can count on to stay on task and provide help when others need it. He is a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to bring him on board permanently!"

August 2017 - Michael Roberson

Michael first interviewed with Express in May 2016 and has successfully completed several assignments for our clients. Michael started with his current warehouse assignment in May. His supervisor at our client site notices his work ethic too – and told Express that Michael works hard and will come early, stay late and work weekends if that’s what it takes to get the job done. She said he’s easy to deal with and a very fast learner. In fact, she wishes that she had three employees just like him!

July 2017 - Metra Orange

Express Employment Professionals San Antonio-Northeast is proud to recognize Metra Orange as our Employee of the Month for July 2017.  Metra first interviewed with Express in June 2016. Three days later Metra started with one of our clients has been on that same assignment as an Assembler for over a year!  Her supervisor says that she does good work and is well liked by all the staff.  She is dependable and sets a great example for others to follow.

June 2017 - Jose Quinones

Jose worked through Express from July to December in 2014 on a successful evaluation hire where he was hired by our client company. Currently Jose has been on this assignment as a Certified Soldering Technician since February.  His supervisors identified that Jose is committed, determined, and punctual and having those three things make him a great team player. When asked of Jose to come in early or stay late he will help out in any way shape or form. He always has a positive attitude and willing to go over and beyond to get things done.  It’s easy to see that Jose exhibits all of the qualities Express and its clients look for in an employee: a dependable, responsible person who works hard, learns quickly, adapts to a new environment quickly and takes the initiative to do what needs to be done.

May 2017 - Vanessa Garcia

Vanessa has been on her current assignment as a Key Ops provider since January, and has been employed through Express since December 2016. Previously, Vanessa completed two short assignments through Express. Vanessa’s supervisor, David, had the following to say about her efforts:  “Vanessa handles all of her assigned duties with minimal supervision. She is self-motivated and completes all her assignments ahead of time. She is always respectful and professional in her interactions with clients, supervisors and coworkers. Vanessa caught on quickly in learning all aspects of her position and has taken ownership of the site.  She is intelligent, reliable, dependable and an integral part of our team.  I applaud her work ethic and feel she is well deserving of the 'Employee of the Month' recognition.”

April 2017 - Brandon Gonzales

Brandon has been on his current assignment as an Assembly Technician since January of this year, and has been employed through Express since December 2016. Since Brandon started working here at the current client, he has by far exceeded his supervisor’s expectations.  He works hard and fast and is very precise with his daily tasks.  Brandon is definitely one of our top associates that we have had the pleasure to work with.  Brandon shows up on time, knows what to do and gets right to work.  Brandon is a very fast learner which makes things easier for his boss. We are confident that when Brandon is given a job, it will be done right and in a timely fashion. We are proud to work with Brandon and to name him our Employee of the Month for April 2017!

March 2017 - Marc Harris

Express Employment Professionals San Antonio-Northeast is proud to recognize Marc as our Employee of the Month for March 2017. Marc has been on his current assignment as a Quality Audit Technician since January of this year, and has been employed through Express since January 2016 when he was placed with a small natural products business for nearly a year until the location closed.  Both then and now, Marc is known for an amazing work ethic. He works well independently and in teams, has a great attendance record, and is willing to go the extra mile when called to do so. It’s easy to see that Marc exhibits all of the qualities Express and its clients look for in an employee: a dependable, responsible person who works hard, learns quickly, adapts to a new environment quickly and takes the initiative to do what needs to be done.

February 2017 - Raul Martinez

Raul has been on his current assignment since October 2016.  He exhibits all of the qualities Express ans its clients look for in an employee: a dependable, responsible person who works hard, learns quickly, adapts to new environments, and takes the initiative to do what needs to be done.  Raul's current supervisor said that Raul is a great worker, and he can't wait to bring him on permanently.

January 2017 - Anita Cupples

Anita has been on her current assignment in a local Charter School’s Cafeteria since March 2015 and is known for being friendly, dependable, and reliable. While school was out during the Holidays, Anita was also working with Express as a product demonstrator for a client that introduced a new product at some local warehouse stores. Anita took on the project and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and improved sales and brand recognition for our client. Her current supervisor said, “Anita has shown to be very reliable, dependable, and flexible in our kitchen. Anita has worked many positions in the kitchen and serves our students in a fast and friendly manner. I truly appreciate her hard work and positive and friendly attitude she has at work. I would also like to recognize her for her wonderful team work. She is truly a team player.”
