    Bob Alcorn, CSP, CHST, loves to share his passion about workplace safety and health with others. As the Senior Loss Control Specialist at Express Employment Professionals, he develops processes with a company’s culture in mind that helps keep workers within the organization safe and healthy. Using colorful examples from his personal experience, Alcorn takes his audiences on a journey they’ll never forget.

    Prior to joining Express in 2013, Alcorn gained insight on the needs of people and their safety as a talent agent in Los Angeles, a safety director for a contractor in a ConocoPhillips refinery, Concrete Enterprises, Inc., and through a variety of other positions.

    A Texas native, he earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, a bachelor’s degree in industrial safety from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a master’s degree with emphasis in entrepreneurship at Oklahoma State University.

    Alcorn has earned the designations of Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). He serves on the American Staffing Association (ASA) safety committee that works with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in connection with the ASA and OSHA Alliance on a plan to protect the health and safety of temporary workers in the U.S.

    Alcorn’s speaking engagements include presentations and seminars for OSHA, chambers of commerce across the U.S., the Minnesota Safety Council, and Express Employment Professionals, among many others.
