The Express Employment Professionals Ventura County branches led a Pay It Forward Holiday Hiring Drive from November 25th through December 20th, 2019. For every person that earned a pay check with the Oxnard and Thousand Oaks branches for the first time, local franchise owners Neil and Janet McMillan, donated $10 to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties.
Express put to work 145 people who had not worked for Express before, which resulted in $1,450 donation for Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties. Express Employment Professionals Thousand also held a client appreciation party which generated an addition $550 in donations for Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties. This contributed an overall $2,000 donation to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties.
"We are happy to help people earn paychecks for the holidays," said Neil, "Being able to pay it forward by making a donation to Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties furthers our ability to help our community."
