Wayne Marschall
Chief Financial Officer of The Stoller Group
As CFO for The Stoller Group, Marschall is responsible for the Finance, Accounting, IT, Real Estate and Legal activities of the 24 Express Employment Professional offices in Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado and California. He also serves as the CFO for Xenium Resources and Stoller Family Estate winery.
During his 30+ years career, Marschall has acquired a diverse background having held senior finance positions in professional service firms, investment management and global manufacturing businesses. His industry background includes high-technology, consumer products, industrial goods, petrochemicals and commercial real estate sectors. His successes have resulted from establishing strategic direction and management systems, managing organizational change, improving business processes, mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities created by rapid growth or change.
Prior to joining The Stoller Region in 2012, Marschall served as Senior Vice President for Aequitas Capital Management, an investment management firm with over $250 million in assets under management offering private equity funds invested in mid-sized businesses. He provided oversight of several equity portfolio companies and provided financial leadership to operating teams to drive growth and improved financial performance in order to maximize shareholder value.
As a Partner in the professional services firm Tatum LLC, Marschall served several clients as Chief Financial Officer and Board Member with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. His clients included craft beer producer Widmer Brothers Brewing, specialty bedding manufacturer Comfor-Pedic and real estate development firm Schnitzer Investment Corp. Marschall also has held senior corporate finance positions for several large global firms including: SUMCO Oregon (formerly Mitsubishi Silicon America), a global supplier of silicon wafers to the semiconductor industry, NACCO Materials Handling Group, a global manufacturer of lift-trucks and Cornell Pump Co., a global industrial pump manufacturer.
Marschall holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance degree from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration from George Fox University
Marschall began his 21 year career with Shell Oil Company and held positions of increasing responsibility in the petroleum refining and chemicals businesses in various U.S. locations and also Corporate Finance. As an expatriate in the U.K. for three years, he served as International Finance Director for a business unit of Shell and was responsible for the finance activities within Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia
Wayne is active in the Portland, Oregon business community serving as Board Member and President of the Portland Chapter of Financial Executives International. FEI is a non-profit, international organization of senior finance executives with over 11,000 members.
