Meet the Owner

  • Mr. Bland Odell has been the Owner of the Woodstock Office of Express Employment Professionals since January of 2012.  In all, Express has been serving the people of Cherokee and Cobb County since 1994.

“I believe we are here for the sole purpose of helping each and every person that we are called to serve.” says Bland.  “Whether it is helping find someone a job or helping our clients meet their goals by providing excellent talent, this is why we show up to work every day. My entire staff agrees with me and it is a blessing to be a steward of this office.  In what other profession can you have such a positive influence on the lives and direction of people, families, companies and our community as a whole?”

Bland attended the University of South Carolina (GO GAMECOCKS!)  and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems and Accounting. Prior to owning this Express office, Bland was successful in the corporate world and as owner of his own recruiting firm for 10 years.

Bland is very active in the community, serving with or as a member of such civic organizations as Rotary, Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, Habitat for Humanity, Next Step Ministries, and Never Alone, a food and clothing outreach that serves the local population here in Cherokee County.

Bland is a member of Woodstock City Church and volunteers in UpStreet, the church’s elementary school ministry. He is a member of two small groups, after leading small groups for over 5 years.
