Multiple Accountant Openings (Entry-Level to Mid-Level)
Location: Oklahoma City Metro & Surrounding Areas
Pay Rate: $24–$29 per hour (DOE)
Position Overview
Multiple companies across the Oklahoma City metro are seeking entry-level to mid-level Accountants to support growing accounting and finance teams. These opportunities offer exposure to a variety of accounting functions and industries, including real estate, franchise accounting, and professional services.
Ideal candidates will have experience with general ledger accounting, QuickBooks, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sage Intacct, or Odoo is a plus. Strong Excel skills and professional email communication are essential. A degree in Accounting is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience.
Accountants in these roles will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of monthly commission and reserve statements, entering and auditing weekly adjustments, preparing reconciliations, and supporting internal teams or external partners with accounting-related questions and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and monthly reports
- Enter, audit, and review weekly accounting adjustments
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support partners or internal stakeholders with accounting questions
- Maintain compliance with internal procedures and confidentiality standards
- Utilize accounting software, ERP systems, and Excel to manage financial data
- Balance payroll weekly and assist team members with reconciliations on GL accounts
- Provide support to current and former franchisees regarding commission and reserve statements
- Invoice and collect funds from founder offices for various expenses and process new franchisee advertising reimbursements
- Assist other departments as needed, such as Accounts Receivable and Workers’ Compensation
Education & Experience Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance; internships or related experience a plus
- Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred
- Exposure to real estate accounting, financials, or tax processes is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, procedures, codes, and classifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Windows-based systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Clear and professional written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to learn franchise accounting processes under guidance
- Understanding of general office procedures
