Job Title: Accounting Assistant / Receptionist
Location: Northeast Oklahoma City (NE OKC)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour
Reports To: Head of Accounting Department
We are currently recruiting for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounting Assistant / Receptionist to support front office operations and assist with administrative and accounting-related tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, team-oriented, and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer service at the front desk
- Distribute daily mail to appropriate departments
- Process credit applications as needed
- Handle postage machine meter reads and assist with UPS shipping
- Support company events, including lunch & learns (sign-ups, set-up, tear-down)
- Order and track office supplies as needed
- File checks and assist with closing files monthly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common office areas
- Assist with daily deposits and verify statements within the accounting system
- Retrieve missing invoices and support monthly account reconciliation tasks
- Assist with various administrative and clerical duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative, receptionist, or accounting support experience preferred
- Experience with SAGE 100 or QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player
Additional Information:
This role will begin working in SAGE 100 and transition to QuickBooks Online in the near future.
