Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Cusseta, AL
Hours: 6am - 6pm EST, Mon - Friday, occasional Saturday. Great overtime!
Pay: $13, this increases to $15 at 90 Days
Job Summary
Express Employment is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for the safe movement of materials, loading/unloading, and maintaining an organized work environment within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities

Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently

Load, unload, move, and stage materials and finished goods

Supply production lines with necessary materials in a timely manner

Verify materials using pick tickets, labels, or production documentation

Perform basic forklift inspections and report maintenance issues

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/production area

Follow all safety, quality, and company policies at all times

Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications

Prior forklift experience required (automotive or manufacturing preferred)

Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

Strong attention to safety and detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
