Job Full Description
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on 2nd shift!
Duties:
- A systematic, patient pace with the emphasis on creative imaginative thought in order to get the job done right
- The job provides stable, consistent methods, processes and procedures
- Technical, intellectual focus
- Great deal of attention devoted to developing a creative solution to problems and decisions
- Offers the chance to develop expertise and a full understanding of the job to be done
- The quality and correctness of decisions is more important than the speed with which decisions are made
- Considerable opportunity to work alone, with no outside pressure
- Most work is custom “job shop” with an occasional run of very small quantity.
- Creating and editing programs at the controls is preferred! Applicants must have a good supply of their own tools.
- Machinist would be responsible for machining materials to customer’s specifications with a provided program.
- We require all applicants to take a Machinist Aptitude and Math test. Programming experience in solid models is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work M-Th 10 hour shifts. Shift starts at 2:00pm
