About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Portable Sanitation to lead operations for their growing brand, Event Restroom Trailers (ERT). As a premium provider of restroom trailer and mobile sanitation services, ERT supports national concert tours, multi-day festivals, sporting events, construction projects, and critical disaster response efforts.
This role is ideal for a seasoned sanitation or logistics professional ready to own operations for a respected, forward-thinking brand. You’ll oversee a modern fleet of trailers and pump trucks, build high-performance teams, and ensure best-in-class compliance, training, and customer service across a wide range of deployments.

Responsibilities
• Oversee all logistics, routing, maintenance, and field service standards for ERT’s fleet of trailers and liquid waste equipment.
• Manage pump truck dispatch, trailer deployment, regional routing, and staffing across the Southeast and national event circuits.
• Ensure full compliance with DOT, OSHA, AOWB, and EPA regulations.
• Develop, scale, and enforce SOPs for site readiness, trailer servicing, safety, and quality control.
• Lead disaster response deployments and work with clients in government, utility, and emergency sectors.
• Maintain and optimize the operations budget and asset utilization.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for operations and brand growth.

What to Expect
• Travel will be required to support national operations, including launching new service areas, visiting high-value clients, overseeing emergency deployments, and ensuring operational excellence in the field.
• You will lead, build, and develop a high-performance field team, including hiring, hands-on training, and creating a roadmap for continuing education, certification, and growth.
• Disaster response and rapid deployment will become a critical function of this role as the brand expands its presence in humanitarian and emergency operations.
• This is a brand-defining leadership role with strategic input, growth ownership, and visibility across Greenawalt Hospitality’s executive team.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in portable sanitation, liquid waste, septic, or mobile field logistics.
• Proven success managing remote or field-based operations and high-performing technical teams.
• Familiarity with pump truck routing, restroom trailer systems, DOT regulations, and sanitation protocols.
• PSAI certification (CPSP or CST), CDL, or state licensure (e.g., AOWB) highly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid office/field role and operate with urgency, professionalism, and adaptability.
