Plant Maintenance Technician – Full Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: Based on experience
We are currently looking to fill an open Plant Maintenance Technician position within our facility. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a can-do attitude.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on role that requires someone with a solid maintenance background. The primary responsibility is to conduct a variety of industrial maintenance tasks on plant equipment. When maintenance needs are light, the individual will work alongside the plant crew in general labor and production tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Fabricate, weld, and cut materials as needed for repairs or modifications
- Assist in general plant labor when maintenance tasks are not needed
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Ideal Skill Set
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Welding, cutting, and metal fabrication
- Electrical and basic plumbing knowledge
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in both maintenance and production as needed
