Electrical Revit Operator/Designer
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Role
Our client, a prefabricated building system manufacturer specializing in electrical substation control buildings and communication shelters, is seeking an experienced Electrical Revit Operator/Designer. This role is responsible for creating and managing Revit drawings and details, coordinating 3D models of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other MEP systems, and ensuring accuracy based on engineer redlines and company standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of drafting techniques, engineering terminology, and the ability to work independently to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, update, and revise Revit models and drawings from engineer redlines.

Coordinate 3D families for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP systems.

Collaborate with engineers and project teams to meet project specifications and standards.

Maintain digital databases for BIM and CAD file storage and retrieval.

Conduct quality control checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Communicate effectively across departments and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Perform other duties as assigned, including equipment operation (fork trucks, MEWPs, etc.) and travel in company vehicles (as authorized).
Requirements

College degree and 2+ years of relevant design experience.

Preferred:
-
Proficiency in Revit, with a focus on 3D designs and family creation.

Knowledge of industrial/commercial AC/DC systems supporting protective relay and/or communications equipment.

Ability to interpret project specifications and deliver accurate design packages, bills of materials, and technical detail drawings.

Familiarity with protective relaying schematics and/or prior experience in control building or communication shelter design.

Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Additional Information

Must be able to read and understand English for training and safety purposes.

PPE may be required, including steel-toed or EH composite-toed shoes.
