About the Role
Our client, a leader in medical waste management and reusable container solutions, is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Driver to join their team. The driver will be responsible for the safe transport of medical waste and reusable sharps containers between customer facilities and the processing site.
Responsibilities

Operate a CDL vehicle safely and efficiently to complete scheduled routes.

Load and unload reusable sharps and medical waste containers using approved equipment.

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain accurate logs and documentation.

Ensure all materials are properly secured and transported in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance while interacting with facility staff.

Report any vehicle issues, route deviations, or safety concerns promptly.

Follow all safety and PPE protocols related to handling medical waste and biohazard materials.
Requirements

Valid Class B CDL license (Class A preferred).

Clean driving record and current DOT medical card.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs using proper equipment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Reliable and self-motivated with good communication skills.

Prior route driving experience preferred; medical waste handling experience a plus.
