Press Brake Operator
General job description: Express in Huntsville is currently recruiting for Brake Operator for an immediate opening. The role will include operating and maintaining a press brake on various machinery. Safety is the number one priority for this company, so ideal candidates will have a record of safety work habits and an excellent eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate press brake machine.
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
- Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments.
- Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake.
- Produce parts for assembly operations.
- Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements.
- Perform spot inspections of parts.
- Complete and maintain paperwork.
- Identify assembly parts.
Qualifications
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
- Can Run and setup press brake
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Press Brake Operator
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, climb, lift, push, and pull
- The work is performed in a heavy industrial environment with high levels of noise, dust, heat and in cold conditions
