Shift: 6:30am-5:00pm M-Th some OT on Fridays
Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. As a Quality Inspector, you will conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to identify any defects or deviations from specifications. You will work closely with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products.
- Follow established inspection procedures and standards to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality data.
- Communicate quality issues and deviations to relevant stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for quality enhancement and efficiency improvement.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification or training in quality assurance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
