Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Verify delivery instructions and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to management.
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers upon delivery and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including delivery logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
