Pay Range: $17-$22 per hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Aluminum Welder to join our team. This role involves welding, fabricating, and assembling aluminum components with precision and high-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate has experience in MIG and TIG welding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in aluminum welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding (aluminum experience required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures, including OSHA regulations
- Experience with grinding, cutting, and finishing aluminum materials
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (shop, outdoor, field settings)
- Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent preferred but not required)
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld parts according to blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure strong, clean, and structurally sound welds with minimal distortion
- Operate grinders, saws, torches, and other metal fabrication tools
- Conduct quality inspections on completed welds to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment and tools as needed
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
