Job Title: Experienced Window/Door Installer ($17-$20 per hour)
Location: Montgomery, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day shift
Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour
Position Overview:
As a Window and Door Installer, you will be responsible for the precise and efficient installation of residential and/or commercial windows and doors. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install a variety of window and door types according to manufacturer specifications
- Remove old windows/doors and prepare openings
- Ensure weatherproofing, insulation, and sealing are done to standard
- Follow job-site safety procedures at all times
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Load and unload materials and tools for each project
- Perform finishing work such as caulking, trimming, and adjustments
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in window and door installation
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
- Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with both residential and commercial installations
- Familiarity with multiple product brands and systems
- Basic carpentry or construction background
