Pay Range: $14-$15 per hour
Job Summary:
As an Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, stacking, and staging merchandise based on customer orders. You’ll operate an electric pallet jack to navigate warehouse aisles and ensure timely and precise order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a rider or walkie electric pallet jack safely and efficiently
- Accurately select orders based on pick sheets, voice pick, or RF scanners
- Stack, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols
- Report equipment or inventory issues to supervisors immediately
- Work in a temperature-controlled or ambient warehouse as required
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience operating an electric pallet jack in a distribution or warehouse setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Must be safety-conscious and team-oriented
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Comfortable working in varied warehouse temperatures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using RF scanners or voice-pick systems
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Prior experience in grocery, foodservice, or retail distribution centers
