Job Title: Industrial Finish Painter ($19 per hour)
Location: Montgomery, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day shift
Pay Range: $19 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete or direct a variety of painting tasks on machinery and parts
- Prepare paints (mixing enamel, lacquer, or other finishes) to achieve the proper consistency and viscosity for spraying
- Prep surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, or removing old finishes
- Apply paint using a spray gun in accordance with required standard
- Use overhead cranes and other material handling equipment safely
- Perform regular lifting, climbing, and physical tasks as required
- Inspect both personal work and the work of other paint shop employees
- Maintain punctuality and regular attendance
- Handle job stress and collaborate effectively with team members
- Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Required Experience:
- Previous painting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to operate spray equipment and work with various industrial paints
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in auto body painting and prepping is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial paint types and surface prep methods
- Understanding of safe crane operation procedures
