Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Administrative Assistant to support our team with administrative and insurance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in both administrative support and the insurance industry, and be open to taking insurance certification tests in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to insurance agents and office staff
Manage and organize client files, policy documents, and correspondence
Assist with data entry, policy updates, and client communications
Schedule appointments and follow up with clients as needed
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information
Support the processing of insurance applications and renewals
Prepare reports and assist with compliance documentation
Perform general office duties including answering phones, filing, and scanning
Qualifications:
Minimum 1–2 years of administrative assistant experience
Prior experience in the insurance industry is preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Willingness to take insurance-related certification tests in the future
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
