Job Title: Parts Specialist-Counter Sales Technician-Forklift ($20-$30 per hour)
Location: Montgomery, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day shift
Pay Range: $20-$30 per hour
Summary:
The Parts Specialist is responsible for delivering excellent customer service through accurate and timely parts transactions. This includes responding to inquiries from customers and technicians, processing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Functions:
- Provide customer service to both internal team members and external clients.
- Perform counter sales and respond to customer inquiries.
- Process daily parts orders and drop shipments.
- Prepare orders for shipment or customer pickup, via phone or in person.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and friendly work environment.
- Assist with resolving discrepancies in parts inventory.
- Determine appropriate shipping methods for parts.
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading cargo.
- Check in and stock daily orders as needed.
- Foster a collaborative team environment.

Experience and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to coach and support team members.
Work Environment:
Work may occur in various settings including climate-controlled indoor areas, outdoor environments, and warehouse spaces.
Physical Demands:
Regular talking and hearing.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
Ability to lift and move items over 50 lbs.
Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Schedule:
Full-time position
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
