Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour (based on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various welding techniques, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high‑quality work. You will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and maintaining metal components to support our operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on a variety of metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Fabricate metal structures and components according to specifications
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure safety and quality standards
- Operate and maintain welding tools, machinery, and equipment
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean workspace
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors on project requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or certification preferred)
- Proven experience as a welder or fabricator
- Proficiency with welding tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
- Certification (AWS or equivalent) is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with metal fabrication and cutting tools
- Knowledge of shop math and measurement
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
