Job Title: Construction Crew Member/Future Crew Leader ($15/hour)
Location: Wetumpka, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day Shift
Starting Pay: $15/hour
About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Crew Member who is looking for more than just a job. This position is ideal for someone who wants to develop their skills, take on additional responsibilities, and work toward leading their own crew in the future.
If you have a strong work ethic, a clean driving record, and a desire to grow into a leadership role, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction and site work safely and efficiently
- Operate hand and power tools
- Load, unload, and transport materials to job sites
- Follow project plans, specifications, and safety procedures
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in good working condition
- Assist with managing daily job site activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Learn leadership and project management skills with the goal of leading your own crew
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (if required)
- Construction experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Strong attendance and punctuality
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Desire to advance into a crew leadership position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in residential or commercial construction
- Experience driving company vehicles, trailers, or equipment
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices
- Leadership experience in construction, military, athletics, or other team environments
