JOB SUMMARY

Detail-oriented and highly skilled Tool Maker with proven expertise in crafting and maintaining precision tools, dies, and molds for high-performance manufacturing environments. Adept at interpreting complex blueprints and engineering drawings, operating both manual and CNC machinery, and applying advanced CAD/CAM software to achieve exact specifications. Committed to optimizing tool functionality and production efficiency through innovation, accuracy, and teamwork. Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for precision, and a dedication to quality and safety standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to create tools and dies

• Operate machinery such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, and CNC equipment

• Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to inspect finished tools

• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize tool performance

• Maintain and repair tools to ensure consistent production output

• Document tool designs, modifications, and performance metrics

• Implement improvements to enhance tool efficiency and longevity

• Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the toolmaking process

🎓 Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED (vocational training or apprenticeship preferred)

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and 5S methodology is a plus
