Job Full Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to join one of our respected client’s legal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled administrative professional with legal experience to work in a fast-paced environment supporting attorneys and legal staff.
Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports

Maintain and organize legal files and records (physical and digital)

Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings

File legal documents with courts and assist with e-filing as needed
-
Conduct legal research and gather case-related information

Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel

Perform general administrative tasks including answering phones, data entry, and mail handling
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary (1+ years preferred)

Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of discretion and professionalism

Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
