About the Position
Express Employment Professionals in Little Rock is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist for a well-established construction company. Key Responsibilities

Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner

Process payments, post daily receipts, and reconcile customer accounts

Monitor outstanding balances and perform proactive collections on past-due accounts

Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, project-related invoice issues, and payment conflicts

Work closely with project managers, estimators, and field staff to verify billing details
-
Maintain accurate job cost records and support month-end closing activities
-
Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management
-
Assist with lien releases, waivers, and other construction-related financial documents
-
Support the accounting team with additional tasks as needed
Qualifications
-
3+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience (construction industry preferred)

Strong understanding of billing processes, job costing, and progress billing

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

Excellent communication and customer service skills

High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams

Familiarity with construction documents (purchase orders, contracts, lien waivers) a plus
