Job Full Description
Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy machinery and construction equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-focused, and comfortable working in the field or shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, forklifts, etc.)

Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems

Repair or replace defective parts and components

Maintain service records and documentation

Follow safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
-
Previous heavy equipment or diesel mechanic experience required

Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines

Ability to read service manuals and schematics

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
