Journeyman Plumber
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Plumbing Services
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Journeyman Plumber to join our team. The Journeyman Plumber will install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and plumbing specifications.
- Diagnose leaks, blockages, pressure problems, and other plumbing issues.
- Install and repair pipes, valves, pumps, water heaters, and fixtures.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Use hand and power tools safely and properly.
- Follow local plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety requirements.
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Complete service reports and document work performed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license or certification as required by the state/local jurisdiction.
- Previous commercial, residential, or industrial plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and applicable codes.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
