Inside Sales / Warehouse Associate

Location: Little Rock, AR
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Permanent Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Inside Sales/Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role combines customer service, sales support, and warehouse responsibilities within a fast-paced industrial tool distribution environment. The ideal candidate enjoys helping customers, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working both at the sales counter and in the warehouse.

Customer service is a critical part of this position, as you will assist customers with product selection, order processing, and ensuring a positive overall experience.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product inquiries, orders, and general customer service needs
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide counter sales support for walk-in customers
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with pricing and product information
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or pickup
• Operate a forklift to move, organize, and load products safely
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse regulations
• Work collaboratively with sales and warehouse team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Previous sales, customer service, warehouse, or industrial supply experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to be trained)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Basic computer skills for order entry and customer transactions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
