Construction Estimator / Superintendent
Location: Arkansas (statewide travel may be required)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Commercial General Construction Estimator/Superintendent to support a growing construction team in Arkansas. This dual role combines field supervision with preconstruction estimating responsibilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of commercial construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
Field Supervision
- Manage day-to-day operations on commercial construction sites from start to finish.
- Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure quality and safety.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain and update project schedules to meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, inspectors, and project managers.
- Document daily site activity and manage logistics.
Estimating & Preconstruction
- Prepare detailed cost estimates based on plans, specifications, and site visits.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Collaborate on budgets, value engineering, and construction timelines.
- Participate in bid meetings, site walks, and scope reviews.
- Identify risks and provide constructability recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- At least 2 years of experience in estimating or preconstruction.
- Proficient in construction software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, MS Project, Excel).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost estimation.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout Arkansas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
Work Environment
- Primarily field-based with occasional office/preconstruction work.
- Must be able to navigate active construction sites.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
