Plant Supervisor

Location: Forrest City, AR
Pay: Estimated Salary: $70,000/year

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Plant Supervisor with strong leadership skills and proven management experience to oversee operations at our Forrest City location. The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for the daily management of two seed houses, supervising a core team of four year-round staff members, and leading 10–12 additional employees during peak harvest season.

This role requires excellent communication, as well as the ability to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily plant operations across two seed houses.
• Supervise and support a team of 4 year-round staff and 10–12 seasonal workers.
• Coordinate workflow during peak harvest, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met.
• Monitor and maintain equipment such as grain bins, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Provide leadership, training, and support to staff, fostering a dependable and productive team environment.

Qualifications

• Required: Prior management or supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Agricultural experience with grain bins, loaders, and heavy equipment.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary:$55,000 - $70,000/year
• Full-time, year-round position with seasonal peak periods.
