Shop Superintendent
Location: Stuttgart, AR
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (occasional Sundays as needed)
Position Overview
We are seeking a Shop Superintendent to manage day-to-day operations in a fabrication shop. This position is responsible for overseeing employees, production schedules, and quality standards while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities

Supervise shop staff, including foremen and fabricators

Manage multiple fabrication projects and workflows

Oversee fabrication, assembly, painting/finishing, and equipment maintenance

Monitor production performance and enforce safety standards

Ensure all work meets quality and deadline requirements
Qualifications
-
Experience in steel fabrication or manufacturing (structural steel preferred)

Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols

Proven leadership and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with MS Office and related software

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field preferred
