Residential Care Worker
Location: DeWitt, AR
Schedule: Full-time (may include evenings, weekends, or overnights)
Pay: Based on experience
Job Summary:
We’re looking for caring and dependable individuals to join our team as Residential Care Workers. This role supports youth ages 13–21 in a residential setting by providing daily care, guidance, and a safe, stable environment for growth and healing.
Responsibilities:

Provide daily supervision and care for residents, ensuring safety and well-being
-
Assist with daily routines, meals, hygiene, and chores
-
Support educational goals through tutoring, homework help, and life skills activities
-
Encourage positive behavior and healthy relationships
-
Supervise social and recreational activities
-
Maintain clear, accurate documentation of daily observations and incidents
-
Communicate consistently with other staff and outside agencies as needed
-
Support supervised family visits when required
-
Help de-escalate conflicts and handle behavioral challenges appropriately
Requirements:
-
Must be at least 21 years of age
-
Must have a High School Diploma or GED
-
Must be able to work with children and youth ages 13–21
-
Must be patient and understanding
-
Must be flexible to work a rotating shift, including possible weekends
-
Experience working with youth or in residential care is a plus
-
Good communication and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to stay calm and dependable in challenging situations
-
Able to pass required background checks and complete necessary training
