Job Full Description
Job Summary:
Hardworking and dependable laborer with experience supporting daily operations in a rice milling facility. Skilled in material handling, equipment cleaning, production support, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Able to work in fast-paced industrial settings while following safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor basic milling and conveying equipment under supervision

Load and unload rough rice, milled rice, and byproducts

Stack, palletize, and wrap finished product for shipment

Clean machinery, floors, pits, and work areas to maintain sanitation standards

Assist operators with equipment adjustments and minor maintenance tasks

Inspect product for quality issues such as contamination or damaged bags
-
Perform routine housekeeping to prevent dust buildup and ensure safety
-
Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures

Work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
Skills & Qualifications:
-
Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
-
Familiarity with industrial equipment and grain handling systems preferred

Basic mechanical aptitude

Forklift experience (preferred, if applicable)

Strong work ethic and reliability

Ability to work in hot, dusty, and noisy environments

Team-oriented with good communication skills
