Dental Assistant

Location: Pine Bluff, AR
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour

Job Summary

A local dental office in Pine Bluff is seeking a dependable and friendly Dental Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and help provide excellent patient care in a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for use

• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

• Take and record patient information and medical histories

• Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in/check-out as needed

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all office policies and infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude

• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred
