Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer for our client in Santa Ana. The ideal candidate will have a strong visual aesthetic and a passion for creating engaging designs that effectively communicate our brand message. This role involves collaborating with various departments to produce high-quality graphics for both digital and print media, ensuring that all designs align with our company’s vision and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative graphic designs for marketing materials, social media, websites, and other digital platforms.
- Utilize software such as Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality graphics.
- Design and maintain website elements using HTML, WordPress, and JavaScript to ensure an engaging user experience.
- Create illustrations and sketches that convey ideas clearly and effectively.
- Implement typesetting techniques to ensure text is visually appealing and easy to read.
- Present design concepts to manager to get approval.
- Administrative tasks as needed in a small team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, web design, and digital marketing.
Skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator - 4 years minimum).
- Knowledge of web design principles, including HTML, WordPress, and JavaScript.
- Strong illustration skills with the ability to create original artwork.
- Familiarity with typesetting techniques for print and digital media.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
